In 2022, Fairmount will be celebrating 200 years of being a worshiping church in Franklin Park, Pennsylvania. We plan to have various events throughout the year which highlight God's faithfulness in the past and look forward to His plans for the future. We will include historical, educational events, social events with food and games, and worship services which celebrate God's goodness to us. This webpage will continue to be updated with the latest news regarding the Bicentennial.
Bicentennial Kick-off: An 1800s-themed Christmas Dinner, Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. The food will be chef-prepared beef with all the trimmings. After dinner we will have Christmas Carol singing and a possible visit from Saint Nicholas. Please RSVP before November 30 to firstname.lastname@example.org or (412) 364-7880 to reserve a spot. Adults are $12. Children 10 and under are free. Families of more than three adults are $36. No takeout orders. Contact us with any questions.
Thursday and Friday, March 3-4: Hosting the Spring Stated Meeting of the Northeast Presbytery of the ARPC. There will be a worship service the evening of Thursday, March 3.
Sunday, April 10: New Song Concert at 1:30 PM. All are welcome for this free concert! New Song is a small singing group from Geneva College. They sing Scriptural songs of worship.
Vacation Bible School: July 18-22, 2022. 6 - 8 p.m. Contact us to register children K - 5th grade.
Community Bicentennial Celebration: Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food trucks, music, a fire truck, games for all ages. All are welcome!
Bicentennial Celebration: September 8 , 10-11, 2022. Thursday: Worship service, 7 p.m. Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Speakers: Dr. Leslie Holmes, Dr. Bret Whiteman, Rev. Jay McMillen. Saturday: Picnic at 4:30 PM. Choir concert 7 PM Saturday. Sunday: Speaker at 9 a.m. Worship at 10 a.m. Lunch to follow. All are welcome!
